Employment of professionals in the electronic Health Records field is NEW expected to grow 20 percent by 2018. As an Electronic Health Records System Technologist (HER) you will assist healthcare providers to choose, implement, train and maintain an electronic health records system. You will learn the essential components of the electronic health record and health information exchange essentials; system selection and implementation; project management and fundamentals of change and human factors. This program is 216 hours in length over 18 weeks offered entirely online with live, weekly teleconferences. Health information Technology is one of the hottest careers in healthcare today! Students will be required to have access to the internet, printing capabilities and an email address. A Math and English pre-assessment test will be administered on the first class meeting to ensure student success.

Veterinary Assistant Certificate Program
Begin a New Career in 5 Weeks

As a Veterinary Assistant you will help the Veterinarian or the Veterinarian Technician in their daily tasks. You will feed, water, and examine pets for signs of illness, disease, or injury; clean and disinfect cages and work areas, as well as sterilize surgical equipment in laboratories, animal hospitals and clinics. This program combines 35 hours of classroom instruction with a 24 hour volunteer experience. The voluntary experience component requires students to volunteer their time. Each student will be responsible for coordinating his or her volunteer experience. |

Pharmacy Technician Certificate Program

Pharmacy Technicians are in high-demand, with job opportunities projected to grow 25 percent by 2016. The prescription drug industry is changing everyday. With those changes comes a need for a new wave of highly trained pharmacy technicians. Successful graduates of this program are prepared for careers in retail and hospital pharmacy settings. A Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist with mixing and packaging prescriptions, referring clients to the pharmacist for counseling, inventory control and purchasing, as well as collecting payment and coordinating billing. This course combines 182 hours of classroom instruction with 120 hours of pharmacy externship to provide you with a complete learning experience. |
FEE
Class fee of $2,895 covers books, supplies, externship, and course completion certificate. Various payment plans are available.
CERTIFICATION
Upon successful completion graduates will receive a certificate of completion and become eligible to apply for registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of California.
