Memorial Day Event
The Los Angeles County of Supervisors is hosting a Memorial Day event "Remembering Our Veterans & Their Families, Past, Present and Future" on Saturday, May 26, 2012, from 10 am to 3 pm.  The event will be held at the Arcadia County Park, 405 S. Santa Anita Ave. Arcadia CA 91006.  Admissions is FREE

 

The Veterans Success Institute offers the following services to veterans:
  • One-Stop Shop
  • Priotity Registration
  • Campus Service Referrals
  • Orientation
  • VA Educational Benefits Certification
  • Veterans Club
  • Peer Mentoring
  • Disability services through the Office of Special Services (OSS)

 Application Process

  General Office Information

Step 1:  Complete the LACC college application.

Step 2:  Schedule an appointment to take the math and English placement test.

Step 3:  Attend a college orientation and meet with an academic counselor to develop a Student Educational Plan.

Step 4:  Visit the Veterans On-Line Application (VONAPP) site to apply for benefits.

Step 5:  Complete a VA Contract and submit to the Veterans' Affairs Office.
